How Spray Foam Insulation Biloxi Works

Spray Foam Insulation Biloxi insulates and air seals homes, raised houses, camps and metal buildings along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, from Bay St. Louis and Waveland to Pascagoula and Moss Point. We spray closed-cell and open-cell foam, blow in cellulose and fiberglass, insulate raised floors and crawl spaces, and remove insulation that is wet, moldy or soiled.

The Coast is a cooling climate. Biloxi's August afternoons average close to 90F, summer nights stay in the mid-70s, and the city gets about 67 inches of rain a year. Houses here lose money to hot attics, humid air leaking in and ductwork sweating in the heat. Many homes were rebuilt or raised after Hurricane Katrina in 2005; others are older brick ranches and cottages that came through it. Each needs its own plan.

What a visit covers

We look at the attic and the ductwork in it, whatever is under the floor (crawl space, raised floor or slab edge), and any metal building you want done. We measure existing insulation and check for roof leaks, plumbing leaks, mold, rodent activity and signs of termites. Formosan subterranean termites are established in Harrison, Jackson and Hancock counties, and Mississippi State University Extension notes that spray foam can hide leaks and infestations. We keep that in mind in how and where we apply foam.

How we work

  • Look first. Every price follows a visit.
  • Area by area. Each space gets its own material, thickness, R-value and price.
  • Moisture first. Leaks and damp get fixed before insulation covers them.
  • Keep inspection in mind. We talk through termite inspection access before foaming foundations, sills or crawl spaces.
  • No surprise changes. Scope changes are agreed in writing first.
